Rogers activation at JACKALOPE

For the third edition of the JACKALOPE action sports festival at the Olympic Park in July 2014, Rogers commissioned us to create an entertaining brand experience for festival-goers and put forward its prepaid plans.

The experience
Festival-goers were invited to ride our mechanical bull and try to hold more than 45 seconds to give them a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. Each participant were leaving with a SIM card ready to be activated for a prepaid Rogers plans. People could also follow all the action of the festival thanks to Samsung screens that broadcast the event live, amplified by Rogers. The Rogers charging station was also installed to allow everyone to recharge their phone for free.

PREPAID
To attract the target 13-34 year old that goes to Jackalope, prepaid plans are very relevant: no subscriptions, no credit checks, no bills and no surprises.

Gnarr Factor – Make some noise like never!
In order to connect the crowd with the athletes during the World Cup skateboarding contest, with Robocut studio we created an interactive display that lights up when there are more noise and excitement in the air. When the crowd goes wild, a siren lights up on Gnarr Factor and shows the judges that the crowd loved the trick of the athlete. The crowd can thus influence the score of the athletes and be heard!

Ambassadors
Four officers were deployed on the ground to give different promotional items to the crowd and invite people to come ride our mechanical bull. A friendly and casual contact with the brand.
